That is one fine report, well done.
Sadly you won’t see that produced by other statistical centers- the question I have is why? Why does the CLC have to do these things and spend its time doiing the work of government agencies. (I don’t understand that, well actually I do because of experience, but I wish I didn’t)
More importantly why is there such a political cloud surrounding the data- we need a whole lot more public unbiased reports such as this, or we risk edging further towards some misguided policy generating space that we risk derailing any recovery.
I am quite concerned. I think a long book is needed on policy generation, statistics, and the body politic within the modern knowledge era.
